We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our services; process transactions and send related information; send you technical notices and support messages; respond to your comments, questions, and requests; and monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our services.
3. QR Code and Link Analytics
When someone scans a QR code or clicks a short link created through CCQR, we collect analytics data including: the date and time of the scan or click; approximate geographic location (country and city level, derived from IP address); device type, operating system, and browser; and referring URL. This data is aggregated and provided to the QR code or link creator. We do not use this data to personally identify individual end users.
4. Cookies and Tracking
CCQR uses minimal cookies necessary for authentication and session management. Our analytics tracking for QR code scans and link clicks is designed to be privacy-first and does not rely on third-party tracking cookies. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.
5. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services to operate our platform: Stripe for payment processing; Convex for database and backend infrastructure; Resend for transactional emails; and cloud hosting providers for serving our application. These services have their own privacy policies and are contractually obligated to protect your data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Analytics data for QR code scans and link clicks is retained according to your plan tier. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: the right to access your personal information; the right to correct inaccurate data; the right to request deletion of your data; the right to data portability; and the right to object to or restrict processing. Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
